This year for Christmas I helped my niece who is two, create some art for her mom and yiyia (grandmother). I simply cut out the shapes, then instructed her on where to place the trunk, tree, and star. Then I let her go wild with placing the ornaments. They were well received, but come on who doesn't like art created by a child....
